Pass box is self-contained unit installed on the wall or partitions between two cleanrooms for swift transfer of materials and to minimize movement of operator and unnecessary human traffic in and out to cleanroom. Thus, this can minimize particulate contamination entering the Cleanroom.

MAC’s pass boxes are equipped with the choice of mechanical interlock system or electrical magnetic lock system that prevents both doors from being open at the same time, thus minimizing cleanroom contamination risk.
